Arts & Culture Seminar Students take a Graffiti Tour of New York organized by Prof. Alisa Solomon.
The tour is sponsored by the non-profit Brooklyn organization, Groundswell Community Mural Project.
Mural artist Christopher Cardinale leads the tour.
Bronx native, Joshua, drives the van and adds commentary.
The tour begins in Washington Heights.
Not far from the Columbia Presbyterian Hospital is a multi-story Groundswell Mural.
The tour group enters into the Bronx
Chris and Josh take the group for a detour in Hunts Point, The Bronx.
Back in Manhattan, the groups goes to Keith Haring's,
"Crack is Wack"
In East Harlem, the group drives by examples of De La Vega's work
Just before sunset, the group arrives in Brooklyn to view two Groundswell Murals.
The tour ends at Groundswell polyptych just off of Fourth Avenue.
